About Us
Gir Cow Bank is a purpose-driven initiative dedicated to the protection, care, preservation, and promotion of indigenous Gir cows, while building a sustainable ecosystem around natural cow-based dairy, organic farming, Gau-Suraksha, गौशाला (Gaushala), Panchgavya products, and traditional Indian values.
Gir Cow Bank was started with a vision to create a meaningful connection between Gau-Suraksha, healthy living, natural farming, and responsible community participation. The initiative began with organic farming in 2019, and the Gaushala was formally established around Holi in 2020 with three Gir cows. Since then, Gir Cow Bank has grown into an expanding ecosystem, caring for 250+ cows and working towards the long-term protection, preservation, and development of indigenous Gir cattle.

Our Mission
Our mission is to protect and care for indigenous Gir cows while developing sustainable, well-managed Gaushala and Panjarapol facilities. We are committed to creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for Gir cows while promoting responsible Gau-Suraksha practices.
We aim to promote organic farming, natural grass and fodder cultivation, cow-based sustainable agriculture, and Panchgavya-based products. At the same time, we strive to provide families with naturally produced Gir cow milk and traditional dairy products while creating greater awareness about chemical-free, natural, and sustainable farming practices.
We also encourage cow adoption and active participation in Gau-Suraksha initiatives while supporting temples, spiritual institutions, and local communities through responsible and meaningful initiatives. Our goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem where Gau-Suraksha, agriculture, dairy, and community participation work together to create long-term value for cows, farmers, families, and society.
What We Do
🐄 Gir Cow Protection & Gaushala
We provide shelter, proper nutrition, healthcare, daily care, and a safe and nurturing environment for indigenous Gir cows. Our long-term objective is to establish larger, self-sustainable Gaushala campuses with well-planned cow sheds, separate spaces for cows and calves, fodder storage facilities, veterinary care, clean water facilities, agricultural infrastructure, and trained staff.
🌱 Organic & Natural Farming
We promote farming systems based on natural resources, organic inputs, and sustainable agricultural practices. Our vision includes cultivating organic green fodder and developing integrated farming systems that are closely connected with the Gaushala, supporting both sustainable agriculture and responsible cow care.
🥛 Natural Gir Cow Dairy
Gir Cow Bank aims to make naturally produced Gir cow dairy products accessible to families in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and other service areas. Our product ecosystem includes Gir cow milk, buttermilk, Bilona Ghee, and other traditional dairy products, prepared with a focus on quality, freshness, traditional methods, and applicable food and regulatory standards.
